WHO IS THE NICHE FOR?
For any photographers who want to build their portfolio with specific contents or to dabble in all genres.

WHY ARE THERE DIFFERENT GENRES RATHER THAN BEING FOCUSED ON ONE?
The purpose of this event is for you to discover what you like, to be pushed out of your comfort zone safely and bring valuable results out of it. Each leader will ensure that your experience is educational through hands on demonstration, answering any questions while on site and providing critique feedback if any.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE?
You can have someone to bring you food or drive you around, however, spaces will be very limited and we want every single paid attendees to have their creative space as well.

WILL THERE BE MEALS AND SLEEP ACCOMMODATION?
Only the VIP Pass will have exclusive access to the Fern River Resort Cabins for 3 nights (check in August 3rd and check out August 6th noon). August 3rd will provide taco catering dinner and brunch on the 6th.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE FERN RIVER RESORT?
Most cabins are fully equipped with limited kitchens, bathrooms and relaxing spaces. You can check this link out for what they recommend you to bring and for what is included. Since the event is mostly focused on content shooting, be sure to bring meals as you can store/cook them at the cabins. The event will provide dinner on the 3rd and Brunch on the 6th.

WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER?
We can't control the weather, however the Bay Area during August- can be foggy and windy at the beach. Bring layers to keep yourselves warm. It rarely rains, like ever, in August. If it's really bad, we will prioritize safety of staff, attendees and model(s) and do our best with making sure we choose back up locations.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I GET AT EACH PHOTOSHOOT?
Each content is up to 2 hours and with a limit of up to 8 attendees per group. This is to ensure that all attendees will be given an opportunity to learn from the leaders, to be able to direct model(s) without too much confusion and connect with each other.

CAN I PICK JUST ONE DAY INSTEAD OF THE WEEKEND EVENT?
You can choose the VIP Beach event, which is on Friday August 4th between 6pm through blue hour at Half Moon Bay. This pass will be limited to 10 applicants only. You can also choose the 2 Days Pass, but it does not come with the VIP Beach event.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY IF I OPT OUT OF THE VIP PASS?
Santa Cruz, San Jose or Aptos would be ideal spots. All contents will start at 9 am and finish after dark.

WILL I NEED A CAR?
Yes, there will be different locations and all will be within 20 minutes of each other. The private Facebook group is a good place to plan with other attendees for carpooling or sharing car rentals.
